The starting point was to realize the longing for living in the country as well as the feeling of living in a loft inexpensively. The row house serves as a compromise between expensive land prices and the desired free space to breathe. It is important not to adjust uniformly in this compacting construction method, but to dance out of line and create individual freedom to the staid uniformity.

A structure was created whose external reference extends far beyond the terrace. This was achieved through a full-surface glass facade on both sides. This transparent outer skin was extended down to the basement, which is now preceded by a courtyard. This turns the basement into a fully-fledged and usable full floor, in which a guest apartment can be accommodated.
